The fundus of the eye is the interior surface of the eye opposite the lens and includes the retina, optic disc, macula, fovea, and posterior pole. If something is wrong about the fundus, we call it fundus disease. Fundus diseases are most commonly due to aging, but may also occur due to other diseases and drastic changes in physiology and psychology. And high myopia is a huge risk factor for retinal detachment.
Symptoms of fundus disease include vision loss and defect of visual field, or flying flies and dots in your field of your vision.

Therapeutic methods include PASCAL laser surgery, vitrectomy, retinal reattachment and the use of Anti-VEGF drugs.
